Description:
Kiddie Kollege welcomes all children and their parents to be part of our caring and learning center. We accept children from infants of just 6 weeks to age 6 years. Our programs run full days for infants through preschool, and full day summer camp for children over the age of 5.
Our goal is to cooperate with parents in the shared responsibility of educating and socializing the children in our care. By incorporating learning through play, our professional and experienced staff encourages each child to develop new skills and knowledge, from toddlers learning their colors to the elementary students exploring science. And we supplement our curriculum with a daily Bible story geared for children.
Kiddie Kollege is a family owned licensed child care facility rated 5 stars by the North Carolina Department of Child Development. Our centers are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. and we provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the children.
We encourage you to visit either of our facilities, meet the teachers, review the colorful classrooms, and inspect the awesome playground. Tours are offered daily at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Contact us today to schedule your tour and to discuss registration for your child or children.
As a Christian daycare, the center is very sinful and not a place for families who truly want better for their children. Teachers are always on their phone while watching children. Management is all over the place and a lot of yelling goes on at children. Overall, there are plenty of more stable and progressive daycare centers in the are.
This place is horrible. My boys ( 3-2 ) went for two days and both days I went to pick them up and upon request I asked how my youngest did and all I got got for a response was "he did fine " and " he was good." Again we only attended 2 days but I didn't notice and educational things in the daily routine. The teachers were rude in my 3 year old class. The play equipment and play area outside was run down and un-kept.For what they charge here this place should be immaculate. If I could rate this place negative 5 stars I would.
My NOW three year old daugther has been attending Kiddie Kollege since she was an Infant. In the time she's learned most of his ABC's, adorable little songs, some sign language and they potty trained her when I wanted to start at home! I'm so impressed with everything about this school. The Director is part of the family own business and is very easy to speak with. She will always seek out the answer and get back to me with reasonable responses. The teachers & other staff are consistently helpful and kind, PLUS they accept NACCRRA for military families.
My daughter attended kiddie kollege on martin luther king bld. She was in the infant class. Majority of the time when i use to pick her up she was crying, dirty and her nose was running. She was only four months at the time and was the second youngest in the class. They never held her or anything. The teachers in the infant room sucked!! How could there be 3-4 teachers in the class and u have crying kids. What a shame. If your thinking about putting you infant at kiddie kollege think twice. Also their prices are outrages!!! My daughter attended another daycare a few months after and is doing great, shes never crying, or dirty and shes even learning more..
We we're fairly disappointed with this child care center for our child. While we were told the children go outside every day, in fact they do not, even when the weather is beautiful. Several of the teachers told us they simply did not like to go outside. In one particular month, my child went outside only twice to play. There were also not a lot of things for the children to play with. It was hard to get my child excited about daycare when there were limited toys. I felt like the staff was friendy for the most part, but the Director and Assistant Director were not attentive to my complaints when we had an issue, however big or small. My child also came home on at least four occassions having been bitten by another child without the teachers noticing or writing up a report.
On several occassions my child came home and used aggressive language that he indicated he heard from his teachers. He would then act out and play with friends in this aggressive manner. Since removing my child from this center his behavior has improved immensly.
Overall, I would probably pick a smaller facility that let the kids have more time outside and with a smaller teacher to child ratio. I would also try to find a facility or center that had a more receptive Director and Assistant.
