I don't know who the previous poster is that left slanderous comments about a former teacher of JOY Academy. As a parent, I followed up on these comments to find some interesting facts. Mr. Beamon was an Assistant teacher, qualified for his position that he filled. Secondly, when a person seeks to find personal information, they can find it anywhere on the internet. I don't know if the poster doesn't think that every company and corporation has many individuals who may or may not have questionable decisions in their lives.
JOY Academy is a Christian school/childcare with a tremendous staff. They have a 40+ year storied history. In regards to the DHS complaints, everyone knows that the DHS never publicizes retractions or corrections or errors that they make so every center looks bad until you stop in and talk to staff and ask questions. Shame on you poster for speaking such terrible things about this truly wonderful organization.
This "child care" is far from satisfactory. Check out the link below that lists complaints to the Dept of Human Services. Be informed. They call themselves "Christians." They are not.

There pre-K "teacher" is a pothead, and he isn't even certified to teacher. Please scroll through his Twitter account. You'll be amazed! And people actually PAY to leave their kids in this man's care!

The pastor (who is the principal's brother and whose roommate is the pre-K's "teacher") is overly involved in the school. But his political mindset clouds his better judgment.
