About the Provider

Description:

Inheritance Child Care believes in the value of human diversity and the fair treatment of all people. It is our number one goal to provide the kind of environment and the kind of influences that encourage all children to become creative, independent, responsible, fully functioning, self directed individuals who can make decisions for themselves. In addition, we believe that ALL children deserve the best care & fair treatment regardless of their past or present upbringing. Since this is true we strive to assist families at need despite financial obstacles which may stand in their way as well as ours. Lastly, as adults we will strive to continue learning and growing in our relationships with others so that we may nurture a peaceful environment and surround the children with understanding, warmth and giving.

I must say when I first walked in I was a little "uneasy". While the Director was HAPPY & SMILING the rest of the staff didn't seem to notice me. They said hello and continued on with the group that they were supervising. I expected a warm greeting but didn't get one. However as I listened to the teacher speaking to the children I noticed that they were in the middle of an educational reading game. I'm talking about 2 year olds and 3 year olds shouting out words as the teacher pointed to the dry erase board. Man I was in awe! The teachers spoke very well to the children. I could tell that they were loving towards them and that they were firm with them. They definitely had structure over this large group of 2 year olds. My husband is now considering enrolling our 3 other children who are much older in their after care program. So far so good I hope they continue. It's been 2 and a half weeks now. Oh and if I had to say something that they could improve in it would be the strong odor of bleach. It was clean but I wouldn't suggest so much bleach be used while the children are still present.
