I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I put my son in this daycare at 18 months old. My son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes while going to this daycare. He was 2 1/2, I paid over $1,500 to send the stuff/Teachers to Children’s for a Diabetic class and offered to pay their wages for that day. They sent 1 people to the class and then came back and told me they would not take care of him! I had a family friend and sister going up to the daycare 3-4 times a day to check his sugar and give him shots. After 3 months while we were in the Hospital I got a call from the daycare office manager telling me not to bring him back! (By law they could not do that) I asked for all his things that were at the daycare. Emergency pen, insulin, and paperwork. I was giving his insulin and paperwork and was told they did not have the emergency pen (over $300 pen)! Which I know they had! The main cause of Type 1 Diabetes is from a virus, which they had hand foot and mouth/ with other going around the daycare all the time!

After he was diagnosed I was tested in one of the diabetes classes to see if I carry the gene. I do not and was told he got it from a virus!

The couple of teachers he had were amazing/ one is the one that told me he had diabetes and to have him checked. It looks nice and safe but is poorly managed and a joke!

A significant number of viruses have been associated with type 1 diabetes, including enteroviruses such as Coxsackievirus B (CVB) (4), but also rotavirus (5,6), mumps virus (7), and cytomegalovirus (8).

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Do not send your children here. My grandson has been coming home injured at least 3 days a week for the last 4 months. Came home cut on the cheek was originally told he was kicked. Hospital said did not look like a kick. After asking questions and demanding to see the video. They must have had something to hide he was kicked out of daycare the next day. He is 3 and has been there since he was 6 weeks old. We have never had problems before only started after his new teacher Alexis came. After finally being able to see part of the video(only saw part because we were thrown out when we started asking questions). Shows my grandson sitting next to Alexis crying cut and bleeding for over 5 minutes with her doing absolutely nothing to help him. It makes me sick to think about how many otter times she might have been neglectful and abusive to him and we didn’t know. The “owner “ Ashley has been absolutely no help win every complaint that has been brought to her. She gets defensive, aggressive and rude when asked questions and pretty much all she will say is she is looking into it

My great-grandson was injured during a classroom activity. The school said that he was bad and they were expelling him. When questioned why, the Director stated that they can expel a child for any reason. When viewing the video to identify the time of injury, the teacher could not point the incident out. The child was sitting by the teacher for several minutes while the other children were still active. Teacher stated that the injury had already taken place. Teacher made no effort to inspect injury or render aid for at least five (5) minutes seen on the video. School stated that they applied ice but offered no timeline. Beware!

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

We brought our daughter here after moving to Waxahachie from Arlington. She attended the Imagine Nation in Arlington for about a year and a half. And we were excited to discover the have a location in Waxahachie, so we could just transfer her there and not have to bother with finding a new daycare. We've been taking her there for a little over 3 months now, and things have started to go down hill. In one week, I got a report from the teacher that 3 out of the 5 days, my child was being bad and misbehaving. Now, I'm not going to be one of those parents who thinks "Oh my child is a perfect little innocent angel and would never do that" but still, 3 out of 5 days in a row, I'm getting a report. I can't just be my child's fault. And some of what they say is a little fishy. And they way they word it and change their story about what happened, I don't even know that I entirely believe them. It's almost like I'm being talked down to as a parent and I'm being victimized. The teachers should speak to me as an adult and not just be like "Well your kid is bad and you should do something about that". How about, No, you work at a daycare. You should know how to handle children. And even if a kid is misbehaving, you don't just go tattle-tell to the parent. You should know how to do your job. And in speaking with my child about why she's misbehaving at daycare and maybe how come she's getting in trouble, some information has come to light. She has told me that when a kid interrupts or isn't listening in class, the teacher throws markers or highlighters at the child. And whenever they are speaking when they're not supposed to, the teacher grabs their face and their cheeks and tells them to stop talking. At no point should the teachers be laying a hand on the children. These are all red flags. And I'm concerned about whether to keep taking my child there.
