About the Provider

Description: Hickory High Child Development Center is a part of Hickory High School. We are a child-centered program for 3, 4, and 5 years old. We are a Five Star NC State Licensed Preschool. Our day revolves around your child and your family. We want our program to be an extension of your child's family. We "teach" through a learning center approach in which the teachers prepare the opportunities in the environment in the classroom so the children interact and play as they learn. No student is ever forces to participate in an activity. We match the activities available to your child's development so that he is excited and eager to play and learn.
