So happy with my decision to join FUN Preschool. My two boys were happier than I ever imagined. The first snow day was devastating! The wanted to go to their school, snow or not! We love how involved the other parents are in FUN Preschool. It has created a really nice parent-environment. We are still meeting up this summer and getting together for playdates.
There is a great balance with learning and having fun. Mostly they think they are playing, but learn tons in the process. You will have little readers going into Kindergarten if you choose the Kindergarten Readiness program.
What a great place for any child to learn.
FUN Preschool is the BEST. My oldest went and was reading before he entered kindergarten. My youngest just finished Threeschool. The teachers, Miss Deb and Miss Vickie are top notch. They are knowledgeable, staying on top of current practices and expectations for kindergarten. They are also the most caring set of individuals I know. The school day is filled with activities, learning, music, and play. The location, close to Hope college, allows for volunteers from there, and field trips to the farmer's market, fire station, and Hope college. Students also prepare for a winter program and spring tea.
I am a college student who volunteered at the Fun Preschool once a week for a semester for a psychology course. I had the opportunity to help in both the "Three School" class and the "Kindergarten Readiness" class. The teachers are consistently caring and attentive to every child's individual needs. The classrooms were always extremely clean and organized. The teachers work very hard to maintain a sanitary environment, with hand sanitizer at every doorway, which they encourage the students to use frequently. The snacks the teachers provide are just the right size and usually healthy. I was impressed with the range of activities for which they provide the students. They follow a routine, but the crafts and games are always changing. I would highly recommend this preschool.
