Description: The purpose of First Steps is to extend the ministry of, and help accomplish the purpose of First Baptist Church, Ocala. We will provide care, education, and resources according to Luke 2:52: mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially. This is to be accomplished by providing developmentally appropriate activities, experiences, and guidance, and by providing a program of supportive Christian ministry and outreach to the families of the children enrolled.

They do fun activities with the children, but in the last couple of years they have been going down hill! Some of the classrooms are very dirty and I have heard some teachers calling the children names and talking very rude to them! I found out that one of the children is related to the director and apparently is allowed to do whatever he pleases including cussing, hitting the other kids, throwing things at the kids and even the teachers! The director is very unprofessional and never even knew what class my child belonged to when my dad went to pick them up!
