Description: Deer Run is located just south of the corner of 56th and N. High School Rd. in Indianapolis, Indiana. Deer Run became Pike Township's sixth elementary school when it opened in August, 1991. We currently enroll over 700 enthusiastic students, grades K-5, and comprise a staff over 70, including teachers, instructional assistants, custodians, food service, and office personnel. The entire Deer Run staff is dedicated to meeting the diverse, individual needs of our student population.
