I am submitting this review on behalf of my grandson who has attended this daycare. The infant room was wonderful He has recently transitioned to the toddler room. Can I say this has been less than a positive experience He has come home with bite marks, swollen black eye, horrible diaper rashes, with explanation for what happened. This tells me that the children are not being watched like they should be. Diaper rashes that kids develop while in their care are absolutely unexcusable! Not to mention your child will be sick ALL THE TIME. My advice is to try to find an in home daycare to take your child to. Your heart will not have to ache because your child is not being taken care for like you would care for him/her.
My kids have both had a wonderful experience at Cornerstone. The teachers and staff have all been very sweet to my kids. I feel that they keep me well informed with what they are doing during the day. I feel safe knowing my kids are in good hands here.
While there are some very nice teachers at Cornerstone there are enough ones that I didn't care for that didn't make sending my children there any longer an option. I had one teacher who had my two year old daughter in time out every time I picked her up. No other teachers seemed to have a problem with her. When I talked to one of the directors they acknowledged that they had been having complaints from other parents but said due to vacations they wouldn't let her go until the end of summer! I walked in on one teacher forcing my 12 month old into a sitting position on the floor. I had several issues with the owner/ director. When I would talk to her she was rude and would treat me like I was dumb. My husband would go there and she would be a completely different person, very respectful. My experience with this daycare was so horrible that I can not eben entertain the thought of sending my two youngest to daycare. I am currently a stay at home much do to all we dealt with at Cornerstone.
