Columbia Christian School embraces the philosophy that young children learn best through intentional hands-on experiences. The early childhood program is designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment allowing children to gain an appreciation of their world and others around them through guided discovery as well as large and small group interactions. These experiences will provide developmentally appropriate activities where the child is an active participant in the learning process. We offer preschool, pre-kindergarten and extended care throughout the school year and a camp program for ages 3-12 during the summer.
Our early childhood program is an integral part of our larger campus that offers a safe, encouraging, affordable Christian education to students through 12th grade. Conveniently located just off the I-205 and I-84 junction, Columbia Christian Schools is ideally situated for families in Portland, Gresham, Troutdale, Happy Valley and Vancouver. Columbia Christian Schools provides a strong academic environment as well as a community that nurtures students spiritually and socially. We aim to foster student growth in faith, character, and academics.
