The Churches Affiliated Child Care Center, Inc. was created in 1988 as a mission of outreach by seven area churches to provide quality, state licensed early childhood education to the community at affordable prices. The program began with one site and eight children at the Camp Hill United Methodist Church. Now with the help of affiliated churches, we have the capability to serve over 250 children at two childcare centers and four school-age programs. Our Enola center, which was previously housed in the Mount Zion United Methodist Church and the Enola First Church of God, relocated in 2002 to 110 Altoona Avenue in Enola. This program has a capacity of seventy children ages six weeks through five years in seven classrooms.
Philosophy
Churches Affiliated Child Care Center, Inc. believes that each child should be encouraged to develop relationships with others, foster independence, and express one’s uniqueness in an environment conducive to physical and emotional well-being. CACCC is open to any child regardless of race, color, creed, or sex with assistance given to those family who may not be able to afford the tuition charged by a child care center operated for profit.
Our opening time of 6:30 AM is earlier than other area centers.
We gladly participate with Child Care Network and we offer a limited in-house scholarship for low income families.
We provide diapers and wipes, inlcuded in private pay tuition, and just $7 per week for CCN clients.
We do not charge additional fees on top of the Child Care Network co-pay as other centers might.
