Description: The Children’s School is a nonprofit organization which was founded in 1978 by Mindy Stock under the name Harmony Home School. Miss Mindy started her school in her home in Monterey, California and later moved to the Wayfarer Church in Carmel, California. The school was located at the church for over eight years. During this time, the school expanded to include two classrooms. In 2005 the school moved to its current location at the Congregation Beth Israel in Carmel. Miss Mindy believes in keeping the school small to enhance learning and social skills for our young children. To this day we continue in her philosophy and strive to keep our classes small. Currently we accept only 6 children (2.5 to 3.5 yr. olds) in our preschool class and 10 children (3.5 to 5 yr. olds) in our prekindergarten class.
