I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I would like to know how Miss Joyce can hold a five-year-old under contract and put it in her file no parents involved for getting into an argument in the sandbox. Not worth the paper it's written on you got a problem with the child you get the parents involved. I am the grandmother and I am highly upset that child has been in tears all afternoon. I am confronted this afternoon by Miss Joyce no details are given just that Madalyn and her signed a contract and everything's OK. Never mind Madalyn is only five years old shame on the adults. Again Miss Joyce would not give me the details I had to get the details from the five-year-old child. She takes it seriously and is highly confused and upset. CDC grow up. Most of the staff are excellent but this game playing with a five-year-old child you don't write up a contract and tell her you'll rip it up later. Quit messing with my granddaughters in mind. Everyone knows sandboxes are cesspools she wanted to play a different game no sand thrown around no one got hurt just a five-year-old throwing a tantrum wanting to play a different game and you're going to write her up no parents involved. Stupidity! Worst part I'm the grandmother I go to pick her up and I'm given zero details. Everything is taken care of Madalyn knows what she needs to do the five-year-old. Shame on you Miss Joyce shame on you. You obviously have a degree in psychology or you're working on it because you're a nut case!!

Kiran Beharie Mar 15, 2014

My son Sashin Beharie attended CDC for 3.5 years(2003-2006), first as a daycare baby and then as a pre-school student. The daycare and pre-school staff were loving, kind, and warm... but dropping my son off everyday for 3.5 years were some of the saddest memories... and then picking him up were some of the happiest... today (2014) he is a 8th grader taking Algebra... all those years at CDC paid off...

This is the the best center in town. I have had 4 children to attend this center and all I can say is simply amazing. they make you and your child/children feel like family. I had my child at another center in town and she cried everyday when I dropped her off. After about a week of that , a opening came availble at the CDC and I took it. My child has never been happier with a daycare. The fact that they have a schedule and the children learn is great.

In my personal opinion, this is the best center in town. From the staff, to the  facility, to the routines, this center is excellent. This is an inclusive center with children with special needs and typically developing children in the same classrooms. The teachers are attentive to every child, friendly, and knowledgeable. They do all they can to help the children and families served there, and you can tell that they really care.  I could go on and on about this center. I have visited several times to see children that I work with, and there is no other place that I would rather my daughter go when she starts daycare.
