Formerly Black Rock Preschool & Childcare Center is now Clockwork Learning Black Rock. We are not an expensive corporate day care, but a privately owned one who is competitive with pricing and understand hard working families. We serve infants 6 weeks to children 5 years of age (pre-kindergarten). We are curriculum based with full lesson plans and developmentally appropriate activities and prepare children for kindergarten readiness. The director has a Masters in Elementary Education and has taught Kindergarten through Second grade. In existence since 2001, but the center traded hands in 2010. Staff are either teachers or moms themselves and are here because they love what they do and enjoy being with and educating children. All are certified in AED CPR/First-Aid. Families are from the Black Rock area, and Fairfield, CT

They are so warm and welcoming. I feel like I placed my daughter at the right center. She is so verbal and even identifying colors at 1 1/2 years old. They are very good at communicating any concerns and of course all the positive things my daughter experiences throughout the day.
A caring place for your children. Mine have been there for 3 years and feel like it is home away from home. It is a smaller center where every child knows every teacher and every teacher knows every child and cares and educates them as well or better than large flashy centers.
