Description: Bethlehem Center of Charlotte was founded in 1940 by the organization that is now refered to as the United Methodist Women. Since then, we have strived for excellent education for low-income children and their families. A resource for children, families and seniors in need, Bethlehem Center of Charlotte provides educational programming for approximately 45 seniors and 1000 low-income children and their families. Through our outreach ministries supported by local churches and community partners, we resident summer camp, school supply drive, thanksgiving food drive and holiday gift sharing. For over 70 years, Bethlehem Center has served as a resource for people from the community who live in our most fragile neighborhoods.
