A Village Green Montessori School, located in downtown Libertyville, was founded by resident Ann Phillips. Ann is an experienced Montessori directress certified by the American Montessori Society. She began teaching at Highland Park Montessori (owned by her sister) in 1998. A Village Green Montessori is affiliated with the American Montessori Society, and is registered with the Illinois Department of Education and the Illinois Association of Montessori Schools. The school serves children ages two to six and includes a kindergarten program.
