First and foremost we gotta give All Praises To The Most High In The Name Of His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ. Secondly I was just strolling on this website and saw all these negative reviews and it mad me think about how this world is, basically when you can’t get you way or your child can’t do what they wanna do we just write bad things, and on top of that they hide their identity (Really) whatever happened to if you have a problem with someone you talk it out and try to come up with a solution, we are in a world where people really think writing reviews (lying reviews)will change anything. Well I’m afraid I have bad news for all of you in the past and future that wanted 5 Star to be shutdown we are still standing strong and there is no bad reviews or complaints to DSS or nothing you can do to stop what GOD has for us and yes I said GOD because here at 5 Star GOD is before everything here, so next time you try coming for us know who you’re really coming for. “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. Very horrible atmosphere. The director is very rude and talks down to the parents and employees.Doesnt have consistent teachers. Gets offended when parents ask questions. Argued with me and followed me around the daycare and outside talking negatively about my parenting and my child. Director is very unprofessional. Really tried to make things work with the director. Ran by a Family of rude people that think they can talk to you any way. Kisa is very confrontational and barely speaks. Do not send your child here!!!

My husband and I are both teachers, and enrolled our daughter at 5 Star Academy Learning Center when she was 18 months old. The previous year, she had been in a nurturing private home which we adored, but we needed to find someplace closer to home with more convenient hours. Immediately upon entering 5 Star Academy Learning Center, we were comforted by the welcoming environment and warm staff. We appreciate the daily feedback we receive about our daughter's schedule. We especially enjoy that she is given a variety of developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor activities including storytelling, singing, playing house, and multi-sensory fun. We LOVE that she has messy fun with paints, dough, and other materials at 5 Star Academy Learning Center, because then we don't have to clean it up! :) The teachers interact beautifully with the children ALL day. I have arrived near closing time to find the teacher and the children engaged in a felt board story. You'll find the energetic director working in a classroom right alongside the teachers, not worried about getting her hands dirty. I could easily write much more about our positive experience at 5 Star Academy Learning Center; but in the end, all that matters is that our daughter loves coming here. What more could you want for your child?

I have used this provider for probably less then 3 months, At first I thought it was a good place they provided 4k for my 4 year old and my child loved it, Well I call every day like I always have with every child care facility my children go to, They told me both my children were doing good, That if I wanted to come by or ever sit in class I could.. I met with Mrs. Aleeah the 4k teacher and she told us parents that she would email us and let us know how our children are doing in class, Well I never got anything, Just a weekly letter about what they are learning, Not how my child is doing, So when I call up front and ask how my child is doing they get irritaed with me and tell me that Mrs. Aleeah would let me know, it took almost a good 2 months to actually get her to email me... So the past month I have been getting told that every single day my child is basically bad.. He never listens or anything, So there was an incedent where supposedly my son had bit some little girl, And the little girl told the teacher and my son got in trouble for it and I got a phone call saying I had to come get him, Once I got there I was being told it was all my child and I was getting furious because never is it just one child there is always 2 and my son has never bit some one. I told them to check the camera, Well looking at the camera is doesn't show my child bit someone so he got in trouble for something he didnt do..Later I had asked if I could sit in the class room with my 4 year old and they ladies up front said it was fine, later that day I get an email stating from Mrs. Alee ah that I would be a distraction and couldn't.. I found this to be very weird.. Last week I got a phone call stating my son had choked another child aggressively and I had to come get him... Again I was furious becaude I know my child and he never would do this... I went to daycare and again told them to go over the camera, Well 2 little boys that were cousins had been playing and one little boy choked his cousin playfully while the teachers back was turned, Then my son had followed the little boy thinking it was okay and playful Mrs aleeah say my child do and and made an accusation it was aggressivly, Once looking after the camera, Mrs aleeah was called up front to see the camera and saw that she was wrong, In the camera she Also grabbed my child arm and I wasn't okay with that.. I did not get an apollogy from anyone for her wrongful accusation, I then did not get any emails about my child.. This past week I got an email staying my child was disrespect to the adults, At this point I was done with this facitly, I had called the caseworker over this facility about not being able to sit in the class with my child and they went out today and now my youngest is being kicked out of the facitly..

I rate with 4 because nothing IS perfect, in any place. MY experience Is different and I not African American MY first language its not english and I receive here firstable work, and comprehenssion for all the employees and Miss.Kisa and I very glad to be here and do all MY best with MY childrens in their work and socioemotional part IS the most important area for the youngest childrens. And work in others Academy and the parent cant enter for the classrooms and see all areas that important too take a note.

I lied I would not give this center a star period.. Where do I start well you start off with a hope and a dream and then when you get into this place to work your schedule could be one thing and next week your getting yelled at because your not aware of your new schedule change bizzare huh and your never appreciated as a teacher when your talking to kisa she makes faces or rolls her eyes because she really isn't interested in what your saying . Kisa Moore I advise you to treat your teachers with much more respect coming into your center theses teachers are amped they have creativity positive attitudes and you take away from all of it you can say good morning to her and she will walk right past you as if you weren't there she's very rude and it's sad and to the review that said they love it there and you have been there for a year which is funny because all the teachers that were there for over a year QUIT and maybe if you treat people with respect they would put back more into the center instead of looking for new jobs to get far away from anything associated with this center you wouldn't have so many immediate open position listed on indeed.com which tells it all your teacher turn over rate is ridicolous people come and go they quit on there lunch break your center brings people to a breaking point of no return your center makes people who are ambitious and with creativity not want to work in childcare anymore because they are stressed out you can't wait until it's time for you to get off and RUN! I'm very happy I was able to get away from this disfuntional unprofessional center especially the director you only get what you give and reap what you sow ....

Hi first of all I will be happy to say that I enjoy my job here at 5 star academy learning center. I was reading the reviews and I see nothing but bad comment on the business and the director, and the people that are written the comments are all liars, truth be told I been working here now going on a year and I see the potential that this business has and the people as well only if there not poison by the fake employees that claim they need a job but get on this review site and spread lies about this business, and as far as the director ms kisa she is one of the most genuine and generous person I ever meet now do she come off strong sometimes yes but if you were as passionate as she is about the care of children you would be as well.Ms kisa do a lot for her employees she always remember your birthday she try her best every day to guide all of us in the right direction God forbid you get in a bind she will help you out to her best abilities she always thanks her parents and show them appreciation and people have the nerve to talk bad about her and this wonderful establishment, well they did talk bad about Jesus and he was perfect.I don't know if ms kisa pay attention to these reviews but if she do you have a employee that thanks you for allowing me the opportunity to work and grow with this business,and to the sad and miserable employees you are not obligated to work here if you wanna leave please go make our job much easier God Bless.

I worked at the center for less than 6 months. It is a family environment but it is not ran very well. One day you could be a toddler teacher the next a early preschool teacher. Teachers left so much other teachers were put anywhere to keep the ratio this ment you could go a period of time without being in your class or even seeing your kids. Mrs. Kisa was a very rude employer and would say what ever she wanted to to the staff. We were not given alot of materials so we had to buy them ourselves. All in all I would not recommend this as a place to work or bring kids due to the unprofessional enviroment and the lack of care from the director and upper staff. Money is more important than the children.

Overall I will not recommend this place and I work here. The staff are underpaid and go overboard.My boss Mrs.Kisa Moore unprofessional talk down to employees in front of parents and about employees to her family which are all staff. This place will continue to not keep staff until she takes care of staff and children the right way. We stay having problems because it flows from the head down. I'm looking for something else can't stay here.

Staff is very rude and unprofessional. They do not care for your children. They can't keep staff, and the staff consists mostly of family and friends. So that should tell you something. Do not send your child here

The minimum I could give this facility is a "1". If I could have chose a negative number, I would have. It is ran poorly and the staff talk about one another with you in the facility, as well as talking about parents to one another in front of others. They do not work well with the children as far as actually teaching them. The "field trips" scheduled for older children happen sometimes...but, you still have to pay the fee whether they actually go or not??? The main lady to deal with has the personality of a rock; she is rude and really hurts the overall atmosphere of the business. And last, but definitely not least, if you are of ANY ethnicity, other than African American, your children will be discriminated against. I know of 7 parent over the past month leaving for that reason....should be shut down.
