Every child deserves a great start in school and in life. Here at Bright Futures we offer children a curriculum designed to help children expand their sense of wonder into life skills. We use a play based curriculum to prepare children for kindergarten and life. A child who starts school with a strong self-esteem and skill set develops a positive sense of education and a love for learning that is life long. At Bright Futures we work to unlock your child's potential through a creative, unique and diverse curriculum designed to prepare the children for their pre-kindergarten milestones. With the new transitional kindergarten programs and testing children for kindergarten placement, it is now more important than ever to have your child being cared for in an environment that prepares them for the school system. California First Five has shown that a child's brain grows and develops rapidly during the early years - more than any other time in life. Our program is designed for maximum impact to help every child achieve their fullest potential. Developing a sense of self esteem and confidence during this time is essential. Exposing children to a varied, stimulating, and interactive environment during this development is critical. We offer a controlled, nurturing, social setting in which children can experiment, play, and grow with guidance and direction.

Our facility is a renovated historic church, one of the first in the Greenacres area, founded in 1947. A perfect beginning for a Christian Preschool as our founders, Florence ‘Flo” and Bob Gause, bought and remodeled the building in 1983. Based on “old fashioned learning with up-to-date style” the school has been in operation for over twenty-five years! Many of the parents of our children today, attended LCCS as young children.
The vision was given by God upon inception for a dynamic, multi-cultural, family-oriented, teaching church, with a world outreach of evangelism, with a community plan of economic empowerment, emphasizing the Word of God, praise and worship, and intercessory prayer.

We believe learning and play go hand in hand. We've created an exceptional environment rooted in the philosophy of inspired learning that focuses on preparing children for future learning experiences. Our classrooms feature a multitude of learning areas that promote social/emotional development, dramatic play, language development, math, science and creative art. Teachers observe and facilitate learning by asking open ended questions. Meaningful and purposeful interactions between children and staff are the hallmark of our Center. Staff ensure children receive affirmation through positive praise. Cal Ivy League Prep serves children from a variety of cultural and religious backgrounds as well as those with special needs. The Center follows an anti-bias multicultural curriculum and doesn't teach or promote any type of religious doctrine. Parents are encouraged to note any special needs or requirements their children have—including dietary restrictions—so the Center's staff can accommodate and support them.

We believe children learn best by exploring at their own pace, motivated by their own interests. We have designed a play/learning environment so your child can learn something from a wide variety of activities. Our qualified and caring teachers provide children with interesting and challenging play choices, varying them often according to the needs of the children. We do not fit children into our educational program; we adjust our program to fit children. While children are developing their intellectual and creative skills, they are learning to be a part of a group—interacting with other children, learning cooperation, and skills to resolve conflicts in acceptable, productive ways.
